Saint Joseph's University: Mandeville Hall

Within Mandeville Hall’s 88,000 sq ft. are various forms of teaching, presentation, communications, and information technologies. Also within the building is a 300-seat “State-of-the-Art” theater venue that is used for presentation, teaching, and town meetings to multipoint global video conferencing events and performances.  Business Law applications and curriculums were also addressed within RJC’s system design. Areas include Moot Courtrooms and corresponding interactive focus and discussion rooms. One of the keys to the design was in the sharing of technology resources and the synergy that was achieved by doing so.

The project was written up in several technology trade magazines, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and Syllabus Magazine.  The project also won the award from CCUMC for being one of three recognized facilities with excellence in technology and is being cited as a model for outside University’s design standards.
